AK Parts Kit — Barrel Population Service

Send a copy of your invoice along with your trunnion, barrel, bolt, rear sight, handguard retainer, gas block, gas tube, pins, selector detent, detent spring, and front sight, and we’ll assemble those parts onto a barrel for you. We’ll headspace the barrel, pin the barrel, press on and pin the components, and drill the gas port so the assembly is ready to install.

How it Works

1. Package the listed parts and include a copy of your invoice.

2. Ship parts to us (address will be provided after order).

3. We fit the barrel you sent or the barrel you bought from us to your parts.

4. We press on and pin components, set headspace, and drill the gas port.

5. We return the fully assembled barrel/parts kit to you.

Important Details

• The quoted price is for a fully demilled kit. If your kit still needs demilling, choose the demilling option during checkout.

• Some kits require an oversized barrel journal — we’ll check fit and let you know if that applies.

• If handguard retainer slots need to be machined on the barrel, there’s a $75 setup + machining charge for the first barrel. If you send two barrels at the same time, the second barrel’s machining is free. Machining may add up to 2 weeks to turnaround.

• We can work on most Kalashnikov variants — from an 8.25" Krinkov up to the 23.5" PSL.

• We do NOT work on milled receiver kits.

• Placing your order on the website will add the return shipping cost for the completed parts kit once it’s populated.

• DO NOT SEND A RECEIVER, WE WILL REFUSE IT. 

Turnaround & Shipping

• Typical turnaround depends on demilling and machining work; we’ll give a more accurate ETA when we inspect the kit.

• Return shipping for the populated kit is charged to you and is added after the job is complete.
